If you want to go down this road then fine. Think about it, who does this help? That's all that matters, I don't care about you being right or me being right, who does it help knowing PUA is technically a form of unemployment. Who cares if it's categorized as unemployment, the answer is irrelevant like this debate as it serves no purpose other than to fill your desire to be right. Wtf? I didn't come here to debate you, I'm here to give a little information to hopefully help someone, which is the only reason I kept responding to you until I realized. But it would be illegal if JFS wasn't following all of the guidelines the DOL has put in place, so for you to say "they cant follow the intracacies of the new bills" is just wrong. Yes, they constantly update the PUA site, at an attempt to make it a more seamless and better-working system. So no, its never been set up exactly like traditional UI because if that was the case, why not just let us all sign up for traditional Ui and just make "self-employed and independent contractors" eligible to receive it? Thatd be significantly less work than creating a whole new program. we would have to have our employers send in tons of stuff, which would be an unrealistic requirement and impossible for anyone to fulfill.among other things. If it was simply set up exactly like traditional unemployment, that wouldnt really make any sense.lol. Hence why we in Ohio went six weeks without getting paid from Dec to Feb, our JFS had to make sure it was following the DOL guidelines of the most recent bill (as opposed to it being set up with the guidelines of the previous bill, which it was and therefore not wet up like traditional UI). My point was, that it is.Įdit: and, for the record, the system is set up for the incatracies of the new bills. This whole thing is because you said PUA wasnt unemployment. Why are two differences in opinion automatically an argument in your mind? It's simply a debate. Continuing to not support people and force people back into close work environments perpetuates the disease and makes it impossible to get rid of. This has allowed them to return to a mostly normal life. If they get 1 case they close the entire state down in Australia for weeks until its resolved. The state is only interested in blowing smoke up peoples asses enough to get them back to work as soon as possible, covid or no covid.Įdit: Countries like Australia and New Zealand have had success with this. These are great but when you prevent people from being able to collect unemployment for almost 3 months people cant support themselves. Polis has done non of this and has only done vaccine pushes. This means actually implementing a working unemployment system and supporting communities. If they actually cared they would lockdown the state and provide for people until its possible to open again. No Politics Outside the Daily Megathreadīecause Polis appointed someone as head of CDLE whos main motto is "keep colorado working" they dont care about your health, they only care about you putting your head down and getting to work.Include Original Source of Contacts You must include the original source like a direct link to UI office contacts including phone numbers, email, addresses. No Identifying Information Do not submit any identifying information. No Illegal or Harmful Advice We do not condone illegal or harmful advice. You will be permanently banned with no warning.
